Pierre Augustin, the late known contemporary Haitian painter, signed in the lower right corner of this large, beautiful, and original 36"24" oil on canvas painting of a historical scene of a royal promenade in the streets of Cap-Haitien. The internationally well-acclaimed art critic Gerald Alexis carefully chose the artwork as part of the Marie & Georges S. Nader Foundation collection.
