Meet Myriam Nader-Salomon
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, I was immersed in Haitian art from an early age as the daughter of Georges S. Nader, founder of the internationally respected Galeries d'Art Nader and the Musée d'Art Nader.
After graduating from New York University in 1988, I returned to Haiti to work alongside my father and the renowned Haitian art historian Gérald Alexis. This unique opportunity gave me firsthand experience in connoisseurship, gallery management, exhibitions, art history, authentication, and the international Haitian art market.
Since 1989, I have devoted my professional career exclusively to Haitian art. After managing galleries in Haiti and Florida, I established Myriam Nader Haitian Art Gallery in New York in 2007, creating an online destination that serves collectors across the United States and around the world.
Today, I continue my family's legacy while building my own reputation as a trusted Haitian art specialist, gallery owner, consultant, and certified fine art appraiser.
