Description

This vintage acrylic painting on board, depicting a marine scene, was created by the late renowned Haitian master Claude Dambreville. The artwork is signed and dated "72 Haiti" in the lower right corner. It is sold unframed, and although the corners of the painting are torn due to its age, a suitable frame can effectively conceal these imperfections. This particular piece was meticulously chosen by Gerald Alexis, an internationally acclaimed art critic and author of several books on Haitian art, to be part of the impressive Foundation Marie & Georges S. Nader's collection. Our gallery will provide a certificate of authenticity upon purchase.
