This vibrant Harbor Market Scene captures the energy of a Haitian coastal village, with sailboats rigged and moored along the shore as figures load and unload cargo beneath a sweeping sky. Ernst Louizor's signature palette-knife technique builds the composition in thick, textured strokes, giving the mountains, sails, and bustling figures a sculptural presence. Signed by the artist, this piece comes from a private collection from Florida. The painting is presented in its original frame and is in good condition, with a small area of paint loss consistent with its age. Our gallery will provide a certificate of authenticity upon purchase.
