Description
Description
Windswept Shore, Haiti captures a breezy stretch of Haitian coastline where tall palms lean and sway against the open sky, their fronds caught mid motion in the wind. Below, layered turquoise waves roll steadily toward a sandy shore, carrying a small wooden fishing boat that nods to the everyday rhythm of coastal life in Haiti. Distant mountains fade into a soft blue haze, framing the scene with a sense of quiet scale. Painted by Cabrini Demesmin in acrylic on canvas at 24 x 30 inches, this unframed piece brings warmth, movement, and a strong sense of place to any wall, whether in a coastal home, a sunroom, or a collection focused on Caribbean and Haitian art. We will provide a Certificate of Authenticity.

About this artist
Cabrini Demesmin was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on December 18, 1979. After the death of his beloved father in 2000, he faced significant economic hardship, an experience that led him to channel grief and resilience into painting. He developed his artistic foundation under the guidance of Haitian artists Charlie St. Louis and Patrick Vital, which helped shape his early technique and artistic direction. Today, Cabrini Demesmin is best known for his expressive paintings and drawings depicting the realities of everyday life in Haiti. Through strong composition, vibrant color, and emotional storytelling, his work captures the spirit, struggles, and cultural richness of Haitian society. His artwork has been exhibited in both Haiti and the United States, gaining recognition among collectors and Haitian art lovers who value authentic contemporary Haitian art.
